Audio to MIDI
Turn a melody you sang, whistled or played into a MIDI file. It finds one note at a time, so it works best on a single voice, bass or lead line with little background noise. Everything happens in your browser and the file never leaves your device.

Tips for good results
- Use a recording of one voice or instrument playing one note at a time. Chords and full songs will not come out right.
- Record in a quiet room, close to the microphone. You can clean a noisy file first with the audio cleanup tool.
- Set the tempo to match what you were playing along to, so the notes line up with the bars when you open the file in the Studio or another music program.
- The result is a starting point. Open the MIDI file in the Studio piano roll to fix any notes that were missed.
