What's new
Recent changes, newest first. Everything here runs on your device, like the rest of the site.
: demo tracks
New on the DJ console: Try it with demo tracks on the Automix tab. The site makes three short tracks on your device so you can hear Automix without any music of your own. The home page has a shortcut too.
: set map and DJ edit maker
The Automix tab now draws a set map of your queue: energy through each track, the key as a colour, and a note about any keys that clash. The new DJ edit maker makes a longer edit of a track (a bigger intro, a repeated drop, a longer outro) or a shorter radio edit, with every cut on the bar.
: library export and Automix upgrades
You can export your library as a playlist, a spreadsheet or a Rekordbox style XML file with tempo, key, ratings, hot cues and playlists. Automix gained key lock while matching tempo, a Preview mix button on each queued track, Mix in and Mix out boxes to set your own mix points, Record my set with a tracklist, and a library energy value that shapes Build up, Cool down and Wave sets. The Mix maker now uses the same transition styles as live Automix, including a real brake.
Earlier
Automix reads each track's intro, drop and outro and mixes with echoes, risers, filters and loop rolls, plus live moves during playback. Read more on the About page and in What's inside.
Detection of tempo, key and track structure is an estimate and works best on clear, steady music. Found a bug? Open an issue on GitHub.
